Sharing the View I was out looking at the full moon last night, and I thought of you. Were you looking at it too? Were the stars as bright where you were last night? Today as I tended my tiny lettuce leaves, felt the sun on my neck, I thought of you. Were you harvesting tomatoes and beans? Was the sun hot on your back, "deja vu all over again", being on the old homestead? Although miles seperate us, it's comforting to know the world is small enough to share the same views- of sun, moon and stars whenever we choose. ~Lovely. I have often thought of this very thing. How wonderful is it that no matter how far apart we are from someone we love,...that we can still view and appreciate the same things..such as the sun, the moon, and the stars. It's very neat to think about and thank you for sharing this poem with us. Well written. Take care. *Peace. |
