Be Still All Of Me Why do I look always for answers to my unhappiness, do I look in vain because I am not satisfied with what I have? Am I a failure at long suffering, will the negative and positive poles always pull me in different directions. Will anything ever truly make me happy, this is my question? To be in want can take much control, the heart cannot decide direction, the life force pulsating through me wants results, my body members keep trying to run but are not in unison, my mind cannot figure out my true desires, and my soul just plain aches for conclusion. Be still my heart and the direction that eludes you will come. Be still my pulse for to exert energies now is of wastes. Be still my members for to rant and rave would be of no use. Be still my mind for you have the knowledge don’t loose precious ground for to deny wisdom is to be a fool on the run. Be still my soul for you are my whole existence, my claim to all that I am. Does anyone really know in which way to walk or how to ride life’s currents, this might just be a question not obtainable by anyone. By, Cerenity |

Ow I can really relate to this. This may sound cliched but I think everyone has to find their way, their path. Does anyone really know in which way to walk or how to ride life’s currents, this might just be a question not obtainable by anyone. a wonderful poem filled with yearning for answers to the questions that are the tips of all of your tongues. the only thing I know is that the answer to life is "42," according to hitck hikers guide to the galaxy, anyway. ok ranting here. an excellent poem. ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. manic street preachers "Culture Alienation Borebom and Despair" "I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing" -faster MSP "And you see, I kind of shiver to conformity Did you see, the way I cower to authority, you see And my life, it's a series of compromises anyway It's a sham, and I'm conditioned to accept it all, you see" six by Paul Draper. ----- |
