At Last As I watch the night air~~ As the cold Numbs my lungs, I remember passion... Of touch, Of wonder, Amazement and curiosity, Of such long amounts of time that passed between us~~ While silent, But speaking openly with words. Time can attest to out lives~ To the beauty we resonate together... Of the lightness you bring And the darkness, I drudge, Of the hope and vitality we cling to, And the doom and torment We together escape. You and I, one of many, Yet all alone~~ Doing as our hearts see fit, To the dismay of the world, But to the enlightenment of our spirits, hearts, and souls~~ Which are free, at last. How nice to be free, with you, at last. Leigh Anne~~~ To be a mother is to accept your heart will forever walk outside your own body!" |

This is an amazing poem Leigh Anne. It just makes you go back to the days when you are in love with someone and you just feel your heart going through the rollercoaster that we call attraction. I wonder who that makes me think of ummm. Well let me stop because you know how talented you are. Rupert |

Auctually, this poem was written back in 1998 for someone we both know. I am glad you enjoyed it, my dear. |

Leigh Anne, it's wonderful to see you back again. Your writing always had a lot of class and I'm happy to see that hasn't changed a bit |
