The ships all sail steadily Upon the Sea of Life Drifting quickly to and fro In constant winds of strife. Back and forth in waters cold Between the points of shore Rushing always quickly paced Always wanting more. When they pass they do not speak Nore nod a kind hello They move past you with a nudge Or maybe a strong blow. Often times when ships collide The damage is severe Many sink beneath the sea Just miles from the pier. The ships are people in this life All vessels which are dead Empty people without love Too deaf to hear what's said. If people would slow down their pace And take the time to care There'd be less shipwrecks in the sea And joy and love to spare. |

If only people would slow down... There would be a lot less "accidents" that kill or hurt... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
