Tiny light, tiny light shinning in the darkest night. off and on, off and on Are you Fairies from beyond? Flying here, flying there, gossamer wings do you wear? Tiny lights flicker, tiny lighs shine, are you little Fairies, little Fairies mine? In the dusky gloaming, in the eve's begin, some say you're just an insect, black and long and thin. I believe in Fairies! I believe in Fairies! so, tinkerbelle or firefly, magical still are these. [This message has been edited by ellie LeJeune (edited 07-03-2000).] |

Oh, Ellie~ Your little Faerie fireflies light up the night. So enchanting. My great grandmother, Annie Wainwright, wrote this when I was just 8 years old - quote: Thank you so much for sending me to my cedar chest to search for it. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

~Ellie~ As always your poems are magical. This was a great read, perfect flow and rhyme with great imagery. From reading your many poems, I see that you are very spiritual and love to reflect upon the beauty of nature and enchanting things in this world. Take care, Melissa Honeybee The beauty of poetry gives me wings to fly |
