In Love With You The warmth of the sun touching my skin Is cool compared to what I feel with you For when you touch me, I melt in your arms The intensity of your love radiates all the way through The sound of the breeze, as it passes through the trees Is harsh when compared to what I hear from you When you lovingly tell me how much you love me And your eyes repeat the same words you do A full moon at night and all the stars in the sky Don’t do justice to what I see in you When I look in your eyes, as they sparkle so bright When I tell you three words, “I love you” I’ve given you my body, my heart and my soul To you my love, I’ve entrusted myself to I never knew how love could feel Until the day I fell in love with you [This message has been edited by kat (edited 07-03-2000).] |

Janet, Marge, tracie, Lizzie: A big thanks to all of you!! Being in love is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Some of us get lucky enough to find someone that keeps that feeling going forever, but that is very hard to find. When we find it, we never want it to end. Kat; This is one of the most romantic and delicious poems! I love it. You are blessed to have found such a love as this. I love the way you have written this with such beauty and grace. SEA: Thank-you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. So you agree with Janet and think I have it bad huh?  MysticalNights: Thank-you Mark: I'm glad you liked it. Thanks! When that special someone comes along and we fall in love, there is nothing that can be compared to that. We crave and want to hold onto that feeling for the rest of our lives. Tom: I'm delighted that you enjoyed it so much that you wanted to vote for it. I originally wanted to submit it for the book but then something happened. I had trouble posting it. I couldn't the first time I tried. I tried again the second time. It worked but I had forgotten to enter it by that point. I didn't know that I could still do it after I had already posted it without submitting it. I'm not sure how to. I'll try to submit it if I can find out how to do it. Thanks so much! Ellie: Thanks so much! I'm so happy you loved it! Insect: Thank-you so much! I'm so happy that you found it so beautiful. I will try to submit it if I can but as I said in my response to Tom.
