Your cold words still stings My heart no more sings Thinking loud about why it went wrong Time and again it was your indifference We all make some amends for what we do I guess thats not in you , atleast not for me Nothing you write will ever change it Our love was just dimly lit It could've been better not this bitter May be sometime someday you'd realize That my love for you never faded It's because you're still in search But I've failed to search after I found you We're not mean't to be We're not mean't to be Thats all I hear from you now And your cold words still stings Sincerely a_l |

Nice writing Amazon...yes some words really do sting...some seems so strong like words of death...and silent words that are not said that we want to hear can also sting. James |

A sadly beautiful poem. Your pain is evident and leaps out from your poem causing the reader to feel it. The phrase "sticks and stones make break my bones, but, words will never hurt me" is completely untrue, cruel words can pierce the heart, rejecting the soul when said by a person you love.
