~*Little Star*~ by: Krissie S. Little star, Shining guiding light. I remember the way it used to be. You were the same that night, Spreading across my feet. As I floated down the way. Little star... Say you need me. I promise I'll make it right this time. As the blame lay upon me. I'll admit it was a little lie... I had to protect myself from you, Little star... Little star, In the broken sky. Did you wonder why I hid my face? I didn't have the stength to stand up to my lies. Please, have the courage to take me from this place. Oh, I need a chance, Little star. Please forgive the part, That I played in your fall. Cause it's gonna break my heart that I couldn't help you at all. Little star, It's getting hard to not forget. Oh, I swear I won't forget! The little things... Oh, my Little star, Please don't fade away... I miss you more than words can say. Each day, each day, I can't forget, The little things... That you gave to me. My Little star... *NOTE*-This poem wasn't really a poem to begin with. I heard a song called "Little Star" and got the tune stuck in my head. The only part of the song I could remember was the 'little star' part. Then I started thinking of love and lies and well.... the result is posted here. But this one really means a lot to me. And though I havent been in Passions very long I like what I see and wanted to share this with everyone. I hope you liked it! "I'm sorry for telling u love was unnecessary... making u lose ur way. I'm sure I'll be as sad as u feel." ~Touch and Go |

A beautifully written poem. I love it. Little things, little stars, little lies, makes me a little sad. I have the feeling someone is more than a little missed. Good Poem. Thanks for sharing it. I am new here also and have enjoyed it greatly. Welcome home. ps i posted a definition for acrostic in my "A Poets soul" for you. jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. Thanks so much, and yes they are missed, maybe more than a little. Welcome home to you too, and I saw your definition and I think I'll try to write an acrostic poem. Even though I'm not even sure if I'm spelling the word right! ~Kay "I'm sorry for telling u love was unnecessary... making u lose ur way. I'm sure I'll be as sad as u feel." ~Touch and Go |

Wow, great poem, I enjoyed reading it, it has a lot of depth and meaning and the story it told was so true . L.of.L. Tom . Insanity is a perfectly normal responce to an abnormal world -R.D.Laing.- |
