When Friendships Fail What else is there to do When friendships fail You think about your mistakes Which you've tried so hard not to prevail You forget all about the good times And focus mainly on the bad Whatever choice you make You remember what you once had A helping hand you offered to lend But inside you know when it's really pretend You're always thinking about what went wrong And you hate to see yourself waving so long |

Very nicely put. Sometimes things fail but we can't pretend they didn't happen and must always remember what will always be in our hearts. Keep your head up. Kittie |

Great poem! I agree..somethings do fail. But they only make us stronger. Keep you head and keep smiling because theres someone out there for you!! ~!*DancinQueen*!~ "One fine day you'll look at me and know that love was meant to be" ~Carol King |

This says a lot of the thoughts we all feel at one point in time or another... I just lost one of my best friends because he and I had been dating and I decided the relationship wasn't working.... he didn't understand and was VERY VERY hurt by it all.. I understand this poem completely... Don't forget, however that GOD is in control and you just have to lift your friendship up to Him. He knows what He's doing... He'll take care of you! Keep your chin up and keep WRITING!! |

Hey there, great poem. I really enjoyed reading it. I am going through something like this right now, but it wasn't a failed friendship, just a deminished one. It is slowly fading away. Keep your head up. Chel "True friends stab you in the front" "True love last forever" |
