The Day You Broke My Heart All the rainbows that had danced Throughout heaven's endless skies Faded to a bitter fog The moment that you said goodbye The flower petal had said "He loves me" As I'd torn the last apart But I realized "He loves me not" The day you broke my heart The dreams of us together Were fantasies and nothing more That brought an aching heart And a thousand flower petals on the floor All the lucky stars I wished upon At night, they never fell And the pennies I'd tossed so hopefully Got lost inside the well The love I thought I'd seen Were just illusions from my mind The longings for a lasting love That's impossible to find And there's nothing left but bittersweet Memories of you and me That's all the became of the dream That was never meant to be |

That poem took my breathe away, I was with someone until two Wednesdays ago, he ended it.. your poem is so true, I lost my virginity to him, he was my all... he shattered my heart... and that poem describes it, kepp on writing...  *SweetPoet* |
