Mind, jolted into a haze So comforting, yet lethal Second hand revolves, Endlessly in this mist. Again I hide Behind this façade Whispering, I question Why am I scared Of entering the dawn? As the mist approaches Descend from forces beyond, Attempt to retreat From burning life Scorching feelings Into comfort Darkness Passionless Void of existence. Run Mist relentlessly chases Condenses into glowing Spears of life, As I lead it to my cold den. Writhe with agony For I've not escaped. Those violent spears Of life. Wrap myself in ice To soothe smarting Wounds of Warmth. < !signature--> "You could be my unintended Choice, to live my life extended...." Her back rigid , eyes glassy Gazes intently at time escaping Sliding, smoothly, as sand sprinkles Through the hour glass, A single tear grazes her misty cheek."
