Big Brother

With a joke that you crack
And a pat on the back
You put a smile where once
There were tears.
With a sincere, "You can do it!"
And a, "Sis keep it real."
For an instant you push back my fears.
With a humorous trick
You perform very quick;
A laugh, funny face, and a smile,
You help me to see
Hou sweet life could be
Even though just for a while.

I wrote this for my older brother, who has always been my best friend.

first of all welcome to passions...this is the first poem that i have read by you...its really cool that you and your brother have a good relationship...keep up the good work...

Hey there, that's a great poem, and I am glad to hear that you have such a close relationship with your brother. I have the same relationship with my sister. Well keep up the great work.

Oh, I enjoyed this littleC! What a wonderful relationship you must have with your brother. You have a lovely rhythm and flow to this poem ... great writing!
