immaginative, creative, always looking for adventure confused alone always striving to venture. away from the pain away from the sorrow, sometimes afraid of what lies in tomarrow. i dont understand i cant comprehend, why everyone doesnt try to mend. the pain that they hold deep inside, never telling anyone what they hide. lost in a world full of anger love and hate, trying to be something but always just too late. they try so hard to be like everyone else, no pride nor love in them self. they find themself doing terrible things, they wish so badly they could just grow wings. then one day they just happen to say something wrong now all they have left to do is long. long that the person that they just put down, will never hear what they said and never come around then one night while lying in bed, they are rudely awakened by a gun to their head. now that life is gone and done, all because one young boy owned a gun. that boy is so hateful he'll never think twice, about the special life he took that night. Basically this poem is just about a young boy who gets sucked into the wrong crowd and ends up saing something bad about anther guy. in the society we live in today it seems "cool" or "respected" to take care of someone who talks "trash" on you. so the guy killed the boy who talked about him and he wont ever think about that boy and his parents and all the trouble he has caused because that is just ONE of the teens society has created |

You have a very nice flow to this poem, and you've touched on a difficult topic which all too often, affects our lives. So many stories in the news tell the tale too late. I am glad you have taken a stand against this, and not glorified the violence this act brings. It is truly a sad state, when this comes to be. Welcome to Passions Katy! (check your e-mail for a special message) Best wishes, /Kit |

Great first post...seems like to have a lot of talent that I'd love to see more of! The story is wonderful and truely is the problem in America today. Thanks for sharing it! Salooma "Not all the answers lie within your realm or mine, they lie within the borders." |

Reality check! I think this poem should wake us up to the world going on outside. Great job! *~Meredith~* If I were the sun, You would be in shadow And if I had a gun, There'd be no tomorrow *BNL |
