I wrote this poem for my best friend a few weeks ago. Dear Friend, You are someone I can always count on, Someone who’s always there for me, in good times and bad. Someone who will celebrate with me when I am happy And someone who will cheer me up when I am sad. “Best friends forever” is what we say, And that is a promise I hope I can keep. Because if we were ever parted, I know I would surely weep. You, my friend, are very special, In my heart, is where you have been placed. You are one-of-a-kind, You have created so many memories that cannot be erased. When things become difficult, And it seems life is too hard to bear, Don’t give up, my friend, Just know that I care. If we ever separate, this I know I will regret, Because true friends you just can’t forget. ~People R supposed 2 B luved, and things R supposed 2 B used; most of our problems stem from realiTy: Things R luved and People R used~ |
