do you ever think back over your life and remember things passed remember the people you now miss and the fun times you had together remember the stupid embarrassing things you did all the ones you hope no one else remembers do you ever think back on your life and think how long its been think how many changes youv gone through think about certain times you really enjoyed wish you could keep living in them forever or think how glad you are your not living in certain other times forever just think about your life in general and reminisce about the good times or what not sort of like old people in some movies do and then remember that your only seventeen? |

even though us teens are young...we still have lots of memories...even if we havent lived that long...we have all been through the same thing at one point in our lives... ~IF YOU WANT SOMETHING VERY BADLY~SET IT FREE~IF IT COMES BACK TO YOU~ITS YOURS FOREVER~IF IT DOESNT IT WAS NEVER YOURS TO BEGIN WITH~ |

Oh Sherm ... this one gave me big smiles! Very thought inducing ... I enjoyed this! I may have a "few" years on you, but I sure remember thinking and feeling just as you've described. You brought back some wonderful memories ... thank you for this small journey! Best wishes, /Kit |

yes yes yes! more often than i want to think about it. how is it that a seventeen year old can look at his/her life and wish for the good old days? i suppose more things happen in seventeen years than one thinks is possible. all i know is i'm seventeen and i feel like i've lived two lifetimes. and one lifetime is long enough... great poem and a great theme! i love it.< !signature--> Everyone's got their demons. I loved the poem. Keep up the good work. I am only 18, but I still look back to those things. Chel "True friends stab you in the front" "Always do your best, you will always succeed" |

i can totally relate w/this poem!! i'm seventeen as well, and i find myself constantly looking back on my life and thinking it was soo long ago that i was a child, but i forget that, in a way, i still am...so often i forget to act my age...my parents call me their little 30yr old. thanx for this poem...good work mr < !signature--> "crazy" is just who you are...amplified. some people draw the outlines in life, i chose to add the color.
