it is my enemy
from it i try to flee
for in its grasp
i have no free thought
in which id think of you
but thats for not
if im asleep
but yet

its not so bad
if it brings
dreams of you
then my heart sings
with your beauty in my mind
though im sad
for your touch
i cannot find
although
sleep
it is a friend
for at its end
a new dawn breaks
and brings more time
time to spend with you
sweet memoriesi cherish
but alas
time soon brings night too
sleep
please hurry and pass
i miss her already
alone time is so slow
with her its so fast
but the memories last
staying in my head
and in my heart
from them i wont part
soon tomorrow comes
and with it more time
time to spend with her

well i agree with you...how sleep takes time away from you grilfriend...cuz it takes time away from me and my boyfriend...but he works so i sleep while he is working...then i stay up all night...keep up the good work...i am becoming a big fan of yours...

Sleep is essential, I don't think you agree w/ me after reading your poem, but relationships need breathing room, you need space. I run like hell when I don't have it... Besides if I don't sleep I feel like something is missing... I feel crappy....
You write well though, keep it up.

Sherm, I hate feeling this way. But I have to agree with Jenn. I've driven a few away because I didn't give them any space. best of luck.
