Driving through the graveyard at night
Hoping some little kids aren't playing Hide-n-Seek
Instead you hit a tombstone hoping no one will notice
Being stupid and showing off you break the light
How wonderful
Sitting in the car making sure everyone is okay
Everyone is terrified
Two children crying
One person yelling
The other trying to calm people down
Including the driver
You are terrified about what your parents are going to say
Wishing you hadn't done it
You sit terrified
No one is hurt physically, but emotionally
Even the good driver that I was
Wasn't thinking about what she was doing
Knowing she wasn't even going 5 mph
Ruined the car
You have a beginning
You have a middle
You have the climax
And now your terrified

Please take your time when you drive, I never thought anything would happen when I was driving, but I was wrong.  I just hope that it doesn't happen to anyone else.  I know that it wasn't that big of a deal, but I was devestated.  Take care, Chel

Chel, accidents happen, and as much as the accident seems your fault, we all have a part in it cause we wanted you to drive in there.  You're a great driver, and I'll stand by you for that one.  And you know I'll always be a careful driver.

It is nice to hear that you, along with your passengers are okay, but also disturbing when one realizes that anything, including a life can come, and go in a heartbeat. Stay safe, and be careful out there; Driving is no joke.
By the way, nice poem!
