Any help with a new title would be much appreciated, thanks...

Loneliness is something of a disease
Like a broken lock, and me with no keys
A virus which consumes me to the bone
I know i'm lonely...I'm all alone

Much like a test, I run through gates
In varied attempts to find a soulmate
I try until i'm weak and frail
But always seem to fall and fail

Am I confined to solitude?
I wish I had some kind of clue
That would explain my destiny
Of solitude eternally

Decisions now flow through my brain
To continue on and endure the pain
Or stop my search without delay
And be alone for endless days

I am lonely and it is a disease
and It looks like there's no cure for me
Instead of one to call my own
I'm doomed to live my life alone

Beautiful poem. Very well writen. Everyone feels alone at some point in time, but that doesn't mean that you will be alone forever. Everyone has a soulmate and yours will come in time. Just have patience.

Very nicely written CJM ... searching, looking, longing ... you've expressed your emotions well in this piece. Give it a little more time, and you will find a cure

(Maybe "Will I find a Cure?" or something along those lines for a title?) Keep up the great writing!

I'm caught in the same little trap you are, trust me. The one thing you've got to realize is that it's inevitable that you'll have someone once again. It may not last and you may be left alone again...but loneliness never lasts forever. It's a fact, the only thing that last forever is long...nothing becomes permanent till then...just keep your heart open, and I garuntee someone will snatch it...especially if they realize how gifted you are with this little art we call poetry.
