Why Can't I Forget You?

Time has healed my broken heart.
I thought you were lost in my mind.
The pain you caused me at the start
Has all been left behind.

The clouds have parted in my skies,
The sun is shining through.
I've forgotten all the hurt and lies,
Why can't I forget you?

This was a very good poem. It is always hard to forget a loved one that has hurt you in some way. Letting go is always the hardest part of a relationship. The only thing that cures the sadness is time.

I think this was a great poem. I know the feeling, and I thik about the question a lot. I really don't think there is an answer, but I wish there were. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for your replies. Yes I did love this person but I'm over that now thank God. I am now a firm believer that TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS!!!! This was one lad I thought I would never get over, I though I'd never love again - but it's been 10 months since and I've come through it all a better person. So anyone out there who feels the same way IT WILL GET BETTER - TRUST ME Thanks again..
