Okie doke...this may not be as great as my first poem...but I wrote this one a whiiiiiile back. I mention one of my friends, Chris, in here. He said my g/f was worth 2 cents one day...but oh well. Also, there is one part in there that's from a song...you'll know what it is. "Loving You" From the bottom of my heart My love for you will not part Being with you is the greatest Loving you is the greatest It's been that way from the start True love is eternal Being with you will never get old Loving you will never die From where we are right now We can go really high It's not some infatuation Just look at the situation We are love personified Just look at us Loving you is something I can not hide The first time I saw you I saw love The first time you touched me I felt love Every moment I'm with you Every chance I get to be with you Everything you influence me to do There is nothing wrong with loving you Loving you is something money can't buy Not even that 2 cents And even Chris wonders why But you are the greatest thing to happen to me And that's how it's gonna be To let you know I love you Is the greatest thing I can say But saying it is different Because when I show it It truly pays Every movement, every kiss, every sniff Sometimes I wonder "if" Every time, I wonder why Why am I with you? Because we were meant to be And loving you Is something you can and will see And that's how it's gonna be To love is to live: for without love, life is not life at all, no, a life without love is a mere existence. The divine beauty of life is not a thin |
