Did you dig deep enough? Deep within your soul For all the answers to all the questions your head holds? Or did you shackle and chain them again Once you found yourself dangerously close to the truth Why torture yourself at night Wondering why I'll never be back in your arms When you're afraid to face the demons Once you find yourself staring them within the eye I set you free, lifetimes ago I'm not the one with the key to unlock those chains you manifested upon your soul I wish you could just see That what is done is done And that it's just only guilt mistaken for love "Let me be the one you call, if you jump I'll break your fall, lift you up and fly away with you into the night" ~Crash and Burn~ |

Kristen...try as I might, I could never let creations like this one flow from me with such ease as you do....I will forever envy that.
