Looking back, I remember,
This day seemed so far away.
We were just carefree kids,
Thinking of new games to play.

Now life is so serious.
College applications and tests.
Days no longer just fun and games.
Though they're supposed to be our best.

Where did all the time go?
We just passed second grade.
Now we're taking the ACTs,
And wondering what score we made.

It seems like only yesterday,
We started to notice boys.
And wasn't it just last week,
When we packed up all our toys?

Tomorrow is graduation.
On to bigger and better things.
We are all growing up now,
Time to spread our wings.

Why does time seem to fly,
when you look back on life?
Next month my son will graduate.
Next year I'll be meeting his wife.

Beautiful poem WiccedWitch!  You've captured so many of the sentiments that play on everyone's minds as they look back and reminisce at each milestone in our lives. Nicely penned!

Best wishes,
/Kit
