He doesn't realize The amount of power he possess over me He doesn't realize How he hold me world in his hands He doesn't realize How I worry when he's not near He doesn't realize How I feel when he tells me all is ok Everyday we smile, exchange hellos and laughs We think of each other often and yet never express it And as I rest my head on his shoulder With his jacket laid carelessly over my shoulds I realize He doesn't realize Without him in my world it would be worthless He is part of who I am He is who I turn to for advice I support him- and he reassures me And although we feel it - it has never been said He is my best friend |

your life wouldnt be worthless without him in it...it would probably be boring but not worthless...so dont say that...this is a nice poem that you wrote for your best friend...why dont you give it to him then maybe he will realize what he is to you... ~IF YOU WANT SOMETHING VERY BADLY~SET IT FREE~IF IT COMES BACK TO YOU~ITS YOURS FOREVER~IF IT DOESNT IT WAS NEVER YOURS TO BEGIN WITH~ |

I wrote this poem a long time ago when I thought I was in love with my best friend.... Back then I thought my life wouldb e worthless, now I realize it would be a little emptier, but not worthless... I just write how I'm feeling at that given moment. And he knows he's very important to me "In three words I can sum up everything I learned about life: It Goes On" ~Robert Frost |

one way streets are the worst ones to travel in a love bug, you know what i mean? very well penned thoughts. i like your style. i've read two of your works and you have a very "tell-it-like-it-is" style. this is well done. and i hate to do some monday-morning-quarterbacking, but maybe you should just tell him, and not wait for realization to kick in. =) We all got our demons. We all got somethin' to atone for. |

Thank you all for your kind words... And to all of you who keep telling me to tell him.... It has been too long since I wrote this and he is now with a friend of mine, and I have fallen in love with another. He knows he is a very important person in my life, and that will never change, but it's not a romantic love that I feel for him, but more of a brotherly love.... thanks again for all your kind words |

Kind and Sweet. I'm glad your friend knows how you feel about him. Just like Acire said, you can't expect any one to read your emotions, sometimes they have to be expressed. Just keep that in mind for future relationships...oh, and do you ever wonder what would have come of you two had to told him the way you felt? just curious. keep up the wonderful work!
