The Cyber-Poets We create our own images With pen and word of heart Bringing together in one verse Thoughts that are miles apart Poetic license buys our mistakes Reality it's dues We paint love and hate In ever-changing hues Mocking nothing, pure by chance We set to paper still Thoughts that go unspoken Envisioned by our quill Fantasies and dreams come alive With each line that we write We the gifted, hidden ones Within our poetic right In days of old we etched Our sayings in cold stone Now we punch a keyboard To satisfy our soul Inspiring others to inspire us We feed our conscious mind As in the new millenium We, the cyber-poets, are legends in our own time A tribute to all that post here, and take the time every day to inspire others through their work. This is a wonderful poem, no..wait...it's fantastic a great way to also mark your 100th post, surely an inspiration to us all  Keep up the good writing. Waves...amazing hey? Wind blowing over smoothe ocean water creates shear. The longer the wind blows, and the futher the fetch, the more energy gets transferred from the wind to the water. What started off as a breeze 1 000km away, ends up as a glass-faced barrel at some far off beach. |

i love this poem, it rymes perfecticly and has great rythem AND good analogies and as alot of my friends know, thats what i like most bout a poem lol *shrugs* but who cares bout the parts i like, the poem was great in every way, so i really REALLY liked it keep up the good work and congrats always follow your heart, never follow others unless it is truely where you want to go, and never give up a dream, maybe just set it aside for a while... :) |
