Spring Savior....tell me what you think

As I open my door to the new life outside,
     I breath in the hpnotic smell of the blooming flowers.
I step out into the still chilly air.
Feeling the need to touch spring, to hold her,
     To make sure she was really here,
     I knelt to the ground and touch the silky blooms.
I look to the sky and gaze into the soft yell light of the sun.
She was here and she scared the frozen, snow white away.

wow this is beautiful...i can actually picture what you are saying in my head...so then if spring scared summer away then did summer scare away spring...is it like going in a circle when the seasons change???

I love the spring time and you captured it so beautifully! It really does seem like the seasons scare each other off. Great poem.
