Spirit Guide

It's half past one
as I lie there in bed.
Not trying to sleep,
just clearing my head.

Thoughts all jumbled,
I stare into space.
Then comes the glow,
and I can see your face.

I don't know your name,
or why you are here.
But please don't leave me,
I feel safe with you near.

I think you're my Spirit Guide,
not just a lost ghost,
because you're always around,
when I need you the most.

OK...I guess it is a bit confusing. In my beliefs, after someone passes on their spirit either stay on earth to help guide the living (thats a Spirit Guide, a guardian 'angel'), or passes on to a place of resting (not heaven, but i guess you can compare it to that) until they are reborn.

Difficult to interperet...
If this is to be taken literally, then my apologies.
It seems like you are talking about a person that you met, somebody who seems to guide you, even though you do not know him/her.
Is this correct?
Nice poem. It was a pleasure to read.

This was nice. I liked it......very good poem.
