Gather me in your arms,
And fly away with me,
To a happier place,
Where alone at last, we’ll be.

Take me away from here,
This place I so despise.
Comfort all my fears,
And help my spirit rise.

Never bring me back,
For I would not want to come.
Leave me there in Paradise,
To frolic in the sun.

For there, there are no bounds.
No stress, no hectic days.
There my life is simple—
I don’t live in a haze.

So take me to my paradise,
And there beside me stay.
We can waste all of reality,
And peacefully dream away.

Finally I have made my way to one of the less gothic poems in here. Not that I have anything against the gothic morbid poems, thats all I write myself...anyways very pretty poetry you got goin, keep writing.
