The Flame that Unites I’m so glad I met you… I couldn’t ask for more. You make me laugh and smile. My happiness seems to soar. I love to be held by you… Forever and forever… Hold me in your embrace And protect me from whatever. I could kiss you for hours… Filled with butterflies inside… So sweet is the taste, And the chills run down my spine. I never want to leave you… A good-bye kiss and then, You’re gone, I’m alone And I long to see you again. And we are so good together… This everyone can see. I envy your ability to name your poems... this title caught my eye. I typically give my poems a single word for a name. The poem itself is well done, not disappointing. "Flames," if I am not incorrect, symbolize the consumptive nature of love, that it burns things quickly? Just a thought. ^_^ Great poem. |

Just so that everyone understands: "I never want to leave you… A good-bye kiss and then, You’re gone, I’m alone And I long to see you again." This stanza is not about a permanent separation... it's about how my BF and I only see each other on weekends and when the night comes to an end, and we've had our goodbye kiss, I have to wait another week to see him again, unless I get lucky *LOL* Hopefully now that I have my license and a car, I can see him during the week sometimes, too  But I just wanted to clear that up. -=Suga=- |
