WHy is it so hard for people to see? That I'm not trying to impress anyone I'm just being me. People think I'm lucky to have so many friends, But how many of them will still be around at the end. Even though everytme I lose a friend it makes me cry, Especially te time I don't get to say goodbye. I don't know why losing a friend is a pain I can not bare, Maybe it's because I'm a good friend and because I really do care. I don't really know what's in my lifes plan, All that is important is I live each day the bast I can. All I want before I die is for everyone to see, That I'm not her to impress anyone I'm just being me! Lauren |

I'm glad you're only trying to be me. Nice poem and good message. I encourage everybody to try and be me.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

lol @ dopey... This is a great peice... It is soo good to see that you are not trying to impress people and be someone your not... It is also annoying though as you have said when people want you to be someone you are not... keep up the great work being you... I tell people that "THis is me and if you don't like it then so be it, but I am not going to become someone I am not just because you don't like me!!" Melz!! Dont believe what ur eyes r telling u they only show limitation. Look with ur understanding, find out what u already know & u will see the way to fly |
