Back together on the road again Well, not really More like "On the pavement walking path again" But that doesn't really work At least not when it comes to the cliché But that's not the point here The point is, my group is together again We're the strangest ones in school And we like it that way! It feels great to be labeled as 'insane' Especially when you scare people by being 'different' You get some interesting reactions then People say, "Who are they?" And, "What do they think they're doing?" And other fun such phrases Yes, we do some interesting And sometimes-childish things Around campus We normally ignore the people who think we're stupid They don't know us at all They just think they can tell because of outer appearances Well, they can all just shove it We couldn't care less about those people We're a group We're a family We stick together They can't dent us Not In The Least ~Will D. ~8/22/00 |

Thank you, LoveBug. It's great to be here, I must say. Since my last poetry board went down, I've been at a loss for what to do and have not been terribly inspired. As you can see from the date on this poem, it is fairly old. In fact, a remnant from the board I used to be on. A fitting poem for my thoughts as of right now, however. Again, thanks. I definately am glad to be here at a place where I can share my poetic thoughts. Thank you and the entire Netpoets crew for making this possible. *hugs* You can look forward to frequent posting from me. |

wow that was grate i loved it. i know just what you r writing about being the "wired group" and "scaring people" by being different that is the storie of my life even in my real family. well welcome to passions your going to love it here another family really |

You know, I know of which you speak all too well. I believe I knew a group like one you speak of.... well, I guess they were my bestest friends for a while. Judging people is wrong, and stereotypical. Welcome to Passions!!!! I hope you love it here like the rest of us! This poem was really good...I liked it a lot. I know how you feel about certain people looking at others as different or strange, but to me everyone is unique and there is no such thing as normal. I think its really good that you dont care about what they think or say, because you shouldnt. No one knows who you are just by looking at you. Great job! |
