There's always so much in the way But still I try to follow my dreams Hoping it'll be easier than it seems But it's getting cold in here... I can't choose just one I want so much from everyone I'm willing to give it my all But I'm too jaded... How many stars must I hang? How many smiles do i have to fake? They say that it won't be long But heaven can't wait forever... Enough of the buts and the whats and the things I didn't do Just to try and prove to you The things that won't be enough And you say it'll be too rough On my own and without you But I can do anything that I want to do And be anybody I want to be (Especially me) And I'll do it even better, much better on my own < !signature--> In order to be good one must know evil. ~*Angel of Darkness*~ [This message has been edited by Dark Enchantress (edited 12-24-2000).] |

I thought that this was a very good poem...i think a lot of people tend to feel this way every now and then..but dont worry things will get better...i hope things get easier on you...great poem |

Thanks a lot for the replies. I haven't posted in a long time so it felt good to be back...at least for a while. We've all experienced a lot of simple emotions that become so complex in our minds. If it doesnt get better... its gets even more beautiful, at least in my eyes... I believe in you. I also liked the first stanza and this part: "But I can do anything that I want to do And be anybody I want to be (Especially me)" That "especially me" just hit me as being great. Life is not easy...but hang on there.
