A Beautiful Trap

It’s like a tale I’ve once heard,
It’s like a path where I was lost many times.
Yet, I follow this road, wondering where it’ll end.

It’s like song, a beautiful, beautiful, song.

Suddenly, not realizing, without knowing,
Something is leading my every day, again.

It’s the sweetness of the excitement,
It’s the taste of love.
But this dream, I fear to be awakened too soon.

Slowly allowing myself walking in the quicksand,
I see no signs to turn,
I have no will to turn.

It’s like a beautiful, beautiful, trap.

This was so beautiful. A poem expressed in wonderful words....i loved it!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!
