To whom it may concern
you tend to hurt my feelings
quietly crying tears locked behinde my bedroom door
To try and be your dreams
denieing my feelings
so I can make you proud
Some of the things you say
makes me want to die
doubting my self-worth
I still try
to mold myself into something I'm not
what you want
My heart doesn't understand
why your always screaming at me
why you're always mad at me
why you say those things
And if this concerns you dear mother
you tend not to show it
it must hide behinde the smoke
does it ever choke you,as it does me?
But,please dont let this concern you dear mother
it's only your daughter's silent plea

WOW! very powerful words! I'm so sorry to hear that you are having to deal with this pain within your heart! I know how you feel (except in my case, it's my dad) Just keep your head up! That was a very powerful poem and I hope that it's not about you. Just be yourself and don't try to please others as often as they would like. You will end up doing it the rest of your life. Keep your head up and stay strong.

This is such a sad situation. You should never try to become something you aren't, noe for anybody. I know very few things, but I do know who I am, and I'll always have that. You should always have that, too. Never change for anyone else, not even for a mother.

well i would like to tell you that i really like this poem...my mom left me 4 years ago...when i needed her the most...now the only time she calls or comes around is at her convience...
