In an upside-down garden

I taught you how to play the guitar,
do you remember, do you remember?
How could I forget,
no never never never.
We put you in our hearts,
you'll always be there.
Don't worry, we'll remember,
don't worry, we'll care.
I don't know how we live this life,
putting things off for tommorow,
when all tomorrow brings,
is more pain and sorrow.
There was something in my eyes,
that wasn't there before,
There is something in my eyes,
that isn't there anymore.
No sweet sixteen,
no driver's liscense or car,
Life is one big journey,
you didn't get very far.
But we'll keep you in our hearts,
as long as you want us to.
because we can't live alone,
we can't live without you.
Shine down on us, spread your light far,
shine down on us, brighten the dark.
shine down on us, today not tommorow,
shine down on us, forget the pain and sorrow.
We believe you when you say you're okay,
we'll believe anything you say,
Just enough to brighten us,
to make it a better day.
Everytime we do something,
for the first time, something new,
We think of your short life,
there's another thing you won't do.
But heaven's got another angel,
someone to watch us go bye.
There's one more angel up there,
and one more star in the sky.
Shine down on us, please don't forget.
shine down on us, is soaked where we've wept.
Shine down on us, remind us of what to do.
Shine down on us, remind us of you.

In loving memory of Jesica

I can't see at all. Even if I could it would all be great, to put your picture on my wall, it reminds me that it's not so bad, it's not so bad.

WOW! This was really amazing. I really felt this poem. It left me with this weird feeling in my gut. Not the nicest feeling, but it did what it was supposed to do. This is really great, your choice of words gets your point across so vividly. I am sorry for your loss.

Allysa: This poem is very touching and I am sure that Jessica would have been quite honoured and happy to know that someone wrote a poem in her memory. It is touching and your words are so strong and from the heart that it gives the piece an added touch of spice to make it extra special.

Great work.

WOW Allysa!!! You have really touched my heart. You are a good friend to her. And now she can be your guardian angel to watch over you. Good work!!!

Thanks ya all!

Erin: If she could be anyone's guardian angel, I don't think she'd want the trouble of being mine!

Another great one, I really like how you've written these.

Why would you say that??? She is a friend of yours of course she would want to watch down on you.

Dopey: Really? Because it is the first "song" I've written. Me and my music teacher and my friend Christine are gonna put a melody to it! I love you!

Lakewalker: Thanks much! How's the snow?

Erin: Last school year we were pretty good friends because I was the first person she met when she came to this school and we had the same friends. But then one of my friends got her in trouble and we never really talked a lot anymore. She also kinda got mad b/c I never called, but I always forgot. Anyways see yas!

Allysa, this was beautiful. I'm glad to hear that a melody is going to be made for it...why don't you record it to the computer so we can download it? Nice work here.

I'll try! But I'd have to learn how to first! I'm learning things everyday! But not at school!
