The night sky is watching It coldly burns eternal They love the sun Like egyptians they worship it For it shows them to advanage I skulk in the shadaows Now by choice I am alone The shroud of dark it is my friend It knows more than I It has seen so much The day may shine but night has depth The sun shows off its light The heat bears down to strangle It is not honest it has no truth Just a much seen sheen Hiding an unregardable image They are like that too All surface polish hiding the depths The night sky is watching I gaze frankly back The sun shows off its light I shield my eyes and squint |

Great job on this one, it's very good. I think the ending of it is perfect. "The sun shows off its light I shield my eyes and squint" "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |

"I used to fly like Peter pan"- Radiohead I really like your style and wording in this poem. I really really like this one and was surprised to see that Lake ( one of our most active repliers) was the only one to reply to this. I surely hope that more people read this. Great job on this one and I hope to see more from you. Welcome to Passions! ![]() I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
