Against the Wall
Seen standing there
Looking left and right
Innocent teens whisper
In silence of fright
Against the wall
In schools they hide
From the bully
Lurking the grounds outside
Hundreds of eyes
See their pain
Hundreds of peers
Share their fears
United in secrecy
Forming sacred bond
They await the day
When friends simply hug
The war of bullies
The deepest of scar...
Coco

It's so wonderful to see you posting here Coco!!! Welcome, and what a wonderful piece to share with us. My nephew had a brief encounter with a situation regarding a bully, and I was so incensed ... I was ready to take on the whole school. I believe it brought me back to my childhood, when I watched helplessly as some others became targets. We got tired of our "bully" and did band together and confronted him. He was ostracized ... I wish more kids could do this. Everyone has a voice!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Coco-
   i like this alot...
this is a very important subject...
too many young people feel they
   are helpless against the bullies,
but if they will just pull together,
   they can make it better..
thanks for speaking out on this.

they call me the bully killer
i kill bullies.

see...........the plan is this: Know tons upon tons of people.
Find out who's picking on who.
Surround the kid and tell him if they pick on that person one more time death will come to them.
Problem solved....
haha ok no im playin...but it would be cool!

Ahhh. Good subject and great writing!! I know only too well the havoc a bully can wreak on their victims.  I'd like to say that this kindergarten behavior ceased in elementary school, but I see it daily, from college to the professional workforce - I blame it on basic human insecurity.  And I indeed have been one of the targets discussed in the poem. The poem "I am Hated" (posted a few weeks back) was directed towards an individual in my school who staged a series of death threats and "blueprints" of plans to end my life, for reasons beyond my comprehension. To make a long story short, despite being pulled out of school for several days for my own safety, I had the option to change schools or stay.  I chose to stay, refusing to allow the bully the pleasure of success. In any event, I've blathered on here enough, once again, good work, Coco!

Bullies are not fun at all...I've had my fair share of them picking on me.  Great piece Coco, I'm glad you could stop in and visit us!
