or need to get way
This is where I retreat
This is where I stay

This is my sanctuary
My place to reside
This is my hole
My place to hide

I can sit and think
or let out my rage
By kicking and acreaming
Or words on a page

This is where i pray
This is where i sin
This is where i express my hurt
An dall the pain within

It's nice to have a place to go to let out all of your feelings and emotions. I think we all need a place like this and your very lucky to have one...Great poem hun.

The ryhme scheme in this one was great. I especially liked the message in this poem. It's always a wonderful feeling when you have a place to express yourself at.
My sanctuary for many years was my best feline friend Magic. I really do think a person, place, or thing does count to be a sanctuary.....it doesn't necessarily have to be like....a house or a bed or something...it can be a soul. Well anyway my cat has been with me for 15yrs....he died though....so now my sanctuary is myself. I'm ok though....no worries....
