I'm tired of waiting for all my dreams to come true There are so many things that I want to see & do Tired of waiting to get a car To graduate And be old enough to go a bar Tired of waiting For my dream boy to come and take me away Loose my virginty And my live my life my own way I can't do anything right now Seems like I have to be perfect Just so my parents won't have a cow Tired of waiting For my poetry to touch lives,& when they reject it It hurts like a thousand knifes Tired of waiting For the perfect friend Someone I can trust and talk to I'm tired of waiting For my life to end... ~Guys are like stars, there are millions of them, but only one can make you dreams come true~ |

OK here's the list: Getting a car= you might crash Graduate= you leave all yer friends and may never see them again. Bar= you get drunk, big deal. Dream boy= why do you want a perfect man now? You wanna get married already? Virginity= something to cherish. You lose it the wrong way and you regret it forever. side note: parents have a "cow" because they care about you.....cope. Poetry= it takes time to develope skills within poetry.....even 40yr olds sometime suck at it. I mean, it's internal talent and dedication. Hope you reach yer goal! Perfect friend= very hard to find but i wish you luck. The end of yer life= Live it up girl. anyway thats all i gotta say!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

sometimes i feel the same way, but i guess i learned to deal with it. i hope you do too. good poem though. Tia |

This was a great poem. but most of the things you listed aren't something you should worry about. they will eventually come and like dopey said your virginity is something that is yours and once you lost it you can't ever get it back again. same with marriage. once ur married you are never single again without being a widow or a divorcee. i know i'm a total hypocrit but most of the things in ur poem, well don't get all worked up over them, they'll come in their own sweet time  Curly "So many tears i've cried, so much pain inside" -Lenny Kravitz |

I really liked this poem...some of the things i am waiting for too but some of them i'm not...thats just me. Tired of waiting For the perfect friend Someone I can trust and talk to I'm tired of waiting For my life to end... I loved that part...sounds like something i'd write!! Amazing way of putting your feelings into words. I can definately relate to you there! |

Well, I think that life is supposed to be like this. I know it sucks. I am 16 and waiting for most of the same things. But I think that God has a plan for you and if you just take one day at a time, all good things will come! No matter what you are going through, all you have to do is close your eyes and dream cause no one can take them away from you. |

I totally agree with Dopes. I was about to enumerate the same things till i saw his reply. What's the hurry girl. I know life ain't easy, but whoever said that it is suppose to be? And guess what, things you want are even harder to have, you have to work your ass of for it. Getting a car, you have to work to have money to get one. you know there are 16 and over clubs right? Unless you're a lot younger than that. Wen it comes to your virginity---hey, you should be proud of it. Why do you want to loose it just like that. is it cause others do so? Let them make the mistake, it doesn't mean that you have to also. Listen to what Dopey said...i think he summed it up pretty well. I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |
