Why did he have to take everything and leave?
The meanings of my heart are deep within
Which means I don’t wear my heart on my sleeve
I feel like it’s been torn in two by the slice of a pin

Lately everything reminds me of him
Now all I want to do is forget the past year
When he appears in my mind everything around me goes dim
I can’t take it anymore, I HATE this fear

My head is in a jumble
I can’t concentrate on anything
All I want is peace and to be humble
But the people in my life never stay long enough to mean something

You thoughts are written so well in this one, I hope things can be better for you soon.  Good job on the poem!

I hope that one day things get better for you...I know what its like to have everything remind you of someone that you dont care to be reminded of...

I love your quote too...

Hey this was a real sad poem. I hope all is well and wish you luck in the future.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Thanks for your compassion, but this is an old. It was about my X So don't worry about me for now. My life's great, so any sad poems or depressed ones in here are just reposted from last year. I'm just trying to figure out which ones are good enough for my folder.

This is a very depressing piece. People can hurt you more than they'll ever realize, and it's so hard to move on. I'm so glad that you have moved on. Keep up the great work!

False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the difference.
