Among the weeping fronds of light And throughout the splash of sky Words of gold do fall to me Like wishes from the butterflies. When shadows climb across my dreams And block me from the sun A silver smile upon your face Brings our hearts to meld as one. When twilight falls to frigid black And internal darkness smothers You've been there to bring the dawn And stood by me like no other. I wish for you an eternity Draped in silver-blues and grace May the angels always comfort you For you've brought love to my face. dear alwye, this is an incredibly beautiful poem... i wrote a poem for my best friend that did not have so cheerful an ending... oh what i would have given to have been able to give it the ending you have depicted here... i hope that you and your dear friend will have many wonderful wonderful years together... sincerely, a sad tomato you're such a beautiful freak... i wish there were more just like you... |
