he cried to me as I whispered
of days and years past, smiles absorbed
by the painless sun, and we laughed
and we cried, for those days had left
then, the words came out
he wanted to die,
words will forever remain
the pain...stabbing my heart
stopping my breath, we talked,
talked for hours, I tried I did
I really really did
but the phone still rang
and I still walked, alone
with out him
and on with the rest of my life
he didn't listen and it didn't matter
when I loved him

He cares wether you love him or not. Your poem says it right there. If the phones sting rings, it means he does.

Wow.  I guess anything I try to say probably won't help you.  But I truely hope that you mke it through this time and feel better soon.  The poem was really good, the emotion in it was very sincere.
