after eons of
anger

after the
bitter taste
in my mouth

I have come to a place
in the center
of my chest

where it aches
because I miss you

no more
flames
flying in my face

no more angry glances

only quiet longing
and tender teardrops

only calm
and silence

streched like oceans
between us
