Last night you came over,
To keep me from feeling sad.
You've seen me go through so much,
it must be hard for you to handle,
I cant help but feel bad.
As we sat outside,
The cool nights air hit my cheeks.
We watched the lightning light up the sky,
With every single vibrant streak.
You held me in your arms,
Reassuring me in every way,
That tomorrow will be better,
It will bring a brighter day.
You told me that you need me,
I felt for the first time in a while kind of loved.
That moment i needed to last forever,
I didnt want to be let out of your securing hug.
I'm so scared at what i've become,
Just the thought of tomorrow makes my soul numb.
I wish i could stay in your arms,
Never let me go.

This poem is so great, the story behind it makes me feel so good, it makes me remember a good friend I have, a good friend I miss. It's good to have someone like that, that's at your side when you need a friend. Good luck, tomorrow will be better, it will bring a brighter day. Bye.
