Can you be the one,
the one to make me new?
The one who looks in my eyes
when my heart is blue?

will you treat me right,
better than I was before?
Heal my wounds completely
so I won't hurt anymore?

Can you make me forget
about my hurtful past?
Lastly, can you assure me,
that your feelings for me will last?

I liked this poem. HOw long can feelings last? Last.....sure....but how long do we ever expect them to at our age? I don't know....... that's just a question that roams my mind quite frequently. Great poem! I liked it a lot.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I agree, I think that this questions are in our minds always. I don't know why, and I don't know why we won't have answers, but I think that life will show us what was the right answer. Maybe we get different answers. Anyway, great poem, I love the poems that makes me think. Bye.
