Believe it or not... I'll miss it

Yeah I sleep in class
my teachers consider me a pain in the @$$
but I keep going and going everyday
hoping to find a job that feeds with good pay
and I someday will regret those days I slept
those days of talking too much will soon be gone
friends secrets I once kept
will be sprawled on the lawn
I'll be moving far, far, far from here
and all of this gone.

I hate school... with a passion, the teachers, people who spread rumors about everyone, the gossip, the grades, the due dates, the immature high school guys, the getting up at 5 am, the homework, the everything. But when it's gone... I'll miss it.

I know what you mean...I just graduated from h.s. and I didnt think I would miss it this much...But oh well...Good poem!!!

Yes i am with you there girl. Uhhhh....i despise school with a passion. You're little comment on the "immature highschool guys".....i tend to agree with you in the sense that , sure there are tons of immature guys in highschool, but do acknowledge that there are some mature ones (i.e. me) haha. Uhhhhh.....oh yea and you know what I *me* hate..? I hate immature PEOPLE in general. I am not going to generalize guys are immature cuz i am one, and i am not going to put down women for the sake of standing my ground against your comment on us males.....i'll just state it in a general form of speaking. ok so yea, great poem. I enjoyed it.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
