*Restless* Shut the door and lock it up real tight. Stay up and pace the floor all night. Out the window, i watch the city's lights. and i wonder if there is any peace Can we make out there on our own? Can we still play when our cards are shown? Can i weather being all alone? i wonder if the umbrella has room for me I miss her smile; i miss her eyes. Think of her when the storms come by... I promise to say to try not to cry. and i wonder why she means so much to me When angels fly to close to ground, a crash is where their journey's bound. But if i'm the angel and you bring me down, why am i trying to clip your wings I missed my chance says my memory. And maybe that's the way it had to be. I hope with you, you take a piece of me. and i wonder if Me will find its peace < !signature--> Everyone's got their demons. We all got somethin' to atone for. I like how you put a capitol M on 'me' like showing ME as a person in itself. That's cool. I liked the poem..  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

The word 'restless' describes your poem more than well..intriguing reading it..keep posting..  "Controlling my feelings for too long.... And forcing our darkest souls to unfold... And pushing us into self-destruction...." *~Muse*~ |
