Insanity roams freely, hungry for my eyes Black and hollow they bleed heavily for my tears left unshed, stings of the day lingering into the night Trapped in a deep inferno I reach out for a release but I've strayed away too far Hope is barely enough to carry me and I've got no where to run, their loud laughter and chatter fills my ears louder than thunder They don't see the death slithering underneath my skin I'll throw myself into the pyre, just to burn it all away I can't play this game anymore but I'm too proud to tell I'm hanging on by a string Too weak to pull myself up alone, Too strong to allow myself to let go ~*Angel of Darkness*~ |

I know the feeling...I completely could relate to the entire poem. The words you used made me shudder...I really really loved it... ~Carly Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. |

Well hey, this poem was depressing. But all in all i liked it. I could obviously feel the emotion within it and that's always good.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

WoW! This was great (even though it was really depressing) You express yourself so well and so clearly...I just hope you don't really feel that way! Anyways, I really loved this poem. In my personal opinion depression and crying is just as important as happiness and laughter. With only one, you are incomplete and inexperienced. So I don't really mind what it is as long as it's honest. Thank you all so much for your replies. I missed being here but I've been really busy lately so I didn't get around to it. Hopefully things'll lighten up soon. This was the way I felt earlier but I feel much better so don't worry about it. And thank you Erin and Star for welcoming me back. Star, your friend Trent sounds like a very wise man. I'll remember that the next time I feel that miserable.
