Excuse me, Sir...
Do you have a Band-Aid,
For my wounded heart?
Have you seen the missing piece,
That was stolen from this part?

Look at all my Band-Aids--
Clear, fluorescent, Scooby-Doo,
Leopard print, Mickey Mouse,
And glow-in-the-dark ones, too!

And the holes-- there are so many,
Can you count them all?
Can you fill them in, repair them,
And still catch me when I fall?

Can you be my first love,
And warm my frigid hands?
Or will you leave another gash,
Like every other man?

The wounds and holes are far too much,
For my tortured heart to take.
And with just one more of either,
I fear my heart might break!

Well, i liked the message of the poem. I thought it was very cute!!! keep it up!

I was really impressed with this. I love how it sounds so cute and free and laid back when really there is a seriousness to the words. Excellent work. Keep it up

Wow..I'm impressed...I loved the whole play on the band-aids. The idea and the way you carried it through were great.
