Tonight you were different:

I don’t know what your thinking
And that’s hurting me inside
One day I hope you’ll realise
The best way to deal is not to hide

Tonight you were different
And I don’t know why it was
To me you seemed so distant
Something was there keeping us apart

I miss the closeness I’m used to
I just want to be in your arms
Please don’t tell me what I dread to hear
That no longer there is an ‘us’

Whatever it is you’re going through
If you don’t want me I’ll just step back
But please don’t give up on it
I need you so much, that’s the fact

I wrote this the other night, when i was with my boyfriend and he was acting really distant. We've had a talk about it... and now everything is back to normal! I just love him so much!

Been there, done that. But our situation didn't turn out as well as yours..we ended up breaking up. But sometimes things work out for the best because now I have someone so much better. Anyways, well written, I enjoyed!
