Sniff, raw, loaded anti-septic, Kill germs, blights nervous soul Shun oozing wound, time ticks Racing, friends melt into insignificant blur Oblivious to your black hole For the sky's your precious cure. So, you run The world's heavily pregnant She can't be your nurse. You run Tears cascade inwards You're hydrated but not sated. I perch upon a roof, legs dangling Watching, waiting as (your name's 'traitor') You run... Sun prepares it's bed, casts an orange glow, Orange to purple blood dripping from Trashed ideologies, I follow My eyes to your fading, running silhouette Have you touched your sky yet? Or has my ruthless cynicism branded you, Prevented you, To swallow? "Controlling my feelings for too long.... And forcing our darkest souls to unfold... And pushing us into self-destruction...." *~Muse*~ |
